ABSTRACT Submission Policies:

 

Abstract submission will be open March 1, 2019 – June 1, 2019. The Eye and The Chip planning committee seeks high quality abstracts that provide original, and generally unpublished, research from the last two years. We invite your submission of:

Abstracts related to the original direction of previous The Eye, The Brain and The Auto congresses on the relationship between vision and the safe operation of a motorized vehicle.

 

  • Work in an abstract must be approved by all co-authors.

  • A Platform Presentation must be submitted with the intention that, if accepted, it will be presented in a 20-minute talk, followed by a 10-minute challenge period.

  • All financial relationships with commercial interests relevant to the research reported in the abstract must be disclosed.

  • Registration for the Congress is not required to submit an abstract.

  • If a submitted abstract is accepted for Platform Presentation, the First Author or presenter will be eligible for up to three nights’ complimentary lodging and congress registration fee.

  • If an abstract is not accepted for Platform Presentation, the organizers may invite the authors to present the material as a Poster.

  • There is no limit on the number of abstracts that can be submitted by an individual.

  • There is a maximum of 2,500 total characters; excluding the abstract’s title but including characters and spaces in the abstract body and image captions -maximum of two images.

  • Font/Size: Times New Roman/10-12

  • The following headings are preferred:  Purpose, Method, Results, and Conclusion

Abstract Information: For abstracts that are accepted, we will need your Biography (1500 characters including spaces), abstract, and photograph (JPEG, GIF file) for publication purposes. Upon acceptance, please send these additional materials electronically to:

Poster Guidelines:

Poster Board Size:  4’ x 8’ – Poster can be any size which will fit the Poster Board

 

Travel Scholarships

Accepted presenters with financial hardship may apply for a travel scholarship. Please send a brief description of your circumstances along with your biography by
